The SMS deliverability incident affecting China is now resolved.

SMS verification messages to mainland China are now being sent in English, including when Chinese is selected. We have also added a new delivery route for China. Delivery and conversion rates have returned to normal levels, and we are continuing to monitor them.

Verification messages are not yet available in Chinese, so service remains degraded while we work to restore Chinese-language messages.

SMS delivery to Chinese phone numbers remains degraded. We have made changes to how affected messages are sent and are monitoring delivery rates to see whether they improve.
